Peek Into My New Home

As some of you may know, I've finally moved to the big smoke. I'm living in the outer suburbs of Melbourne and I've only been here a few days and I LOVE it.

One of my favourite parts has been unpacking/buying the new things I need. I bought everything from Ikea, Kmart, and Woolworths cause I was on a budget (and really, who isn't?) So I thought I'd do a few posts, the first of which, featuring my brand new bedroom!

Two of the only things I bought was my favourite quilt cover, and my lanterns from Typo. I probably could have repurchased them here, but I knew I wanted them in my room asap and couldn't wait, so i brought them along.

This is the Knubbig light from ikea, I totally love it, and it was only 9.99 (aud). The lights are all hand blown, meaning they're all uniquely shaped, which I love too.

I found this gem at Kmart by accident, it works perfectly for holding all my loose makeup which would otherwise be floating around. It's the perfect size for eyeshadows, lipsticks, and concealers.

I also brought along a few of my favourite copies of magazines, just incase of a lack of interior decoration inspiration, I knew I'd find something useful in the pages of Vogue. Miranda's jacket on the newest copy was actually my inspiration for my pastel pink toned house! (also ft. my juice glass, how cool is it to be able to buy whatever flavour juice you want! I used to have to barter with my sis now I can choose my own #juicegeek)

And Lastly, the makeup I decided to bring with me. The Pure BB and the Wake Me Up are my favorite foundations, so I brought my light and medium shades of them, because my skin changes in tone from season to season and I didn't want to have to repurchase. These are all just stored on my desk.

I'm still on the lookout for a small makeup mirror though, anyone got any suggestions as to where I could find one?

Love as always! x
