Mini Review : Lush Jackie Oates Colour Supplement

Though I have olive tones in my skin, I make an effort to stay protected from the sun, so for most of the year, I'm pretty pale. I'm blessed with having english skin from my mothers side, as well as the european tendency to tan from my fathers side. Which I'm totally happy with, except for the fact that it's nearly impossible to find any face products that are light enough for my skin tone, while not being too pink.

Enter Lush's Jackie Oates Colour Supplement (15.50 AUD).
For us vampire like ladies, this is a total life saver. Ever since moving to melbourne I've been walking everywhere, and the wind has really dried my skin out. I've been using this nearly every day mixed with the Maybelline BB cream for a gorgeous natural glow, while still covering any redness, and moisturising my skin.

Pros  ~
- The colour is the perfect olive/yellow based colour, the kind that can easily sit on any skin tone and blend in perfectly.
- Because it's made with oatmilk, honey, and aloe vera it's SUPER moisturising. It reminds me of Lush's dream cream body lotion (it even has the same yummy smell)
- It's Lush, so you know it's fresh, and you know it's going to be good for your skin. PLUS it has titanium dioxide in it so it acts as a sunscreen! (something which is awesome if you're on the paler side)

Cons ~
- This is really very light, this means that the amount of people who can actually use this product is small. However, dont fear. Lush also carries this in dark yellow, and dark pink, for those blessed with a gorgeous tan.
- The packaging is quite small. You only get 20g of product, which isn't a whole lot. However you can mix it with your moisturiser to make it go further!

Overall, it's totally worth a try, and I will repurchase this!

Love as always! x

Please note, I was sent these products. However this is not a paid or sponsored post, and all opinions are honest and true.
