Tutorial: 3rd Degree Burn

I know, I know, I didn't take any in action shots - but I think I'm going to make a youtube video on this.
I'd be more inclined to call this a 2nd degree burn, but It's somewhere between 2nd and 3rd, because I didn't use gelatin or anything to create depth it looks more like a second as a third burns down much deeper.

Right off the bat I wish I'd included more black and red inside the actual open areas.

I used layers of PVC glue (used it like liquid latex), and then made little holes in it before painting it with a sponge with brown, red, yellow, and some black.

I wanted to create something that looked like a third degree burn, but I think I was just off the mark, it wasn't deep enough, though it was open, and raw.

Love as always! x
