Lush Adelaide Grand Re-Opening

Yesterday was Radelaide Lush's grand re-opening party, as the entire store had a facelift and now looks flipping awesome! I was lucky enough to be invited along to blog about the whole thing.

My younger sister attended the event with me, and we got there at around 4 for a 5 o'clock start, while waiting in line we were supplied with amaaazing vegan cupcakes from the Fakery Bakery (which were so nice, and so sweet that I couldn't even finish mine and had to give it to my sis who has much more of a sweet tooth!), and little raspberry soda's which had 'Welcome to Lush Adelaide' stickers on them.

We got inside the store at around ten to five, after being greeted by the manager and one of the lovely staff of Lush HQ we headed inside. The store is the first in Australia to be so stocked to the roof, and is quite like the overseas stores in England and such - which is aweeeeeeesome for little old adelaide!

The lovely manager of the store, Nelya, gave us all a demo of the Twilight bath bomb, the whole night was very hands on and we got to smell it and even swoosh our hands about in the purpley/blue water.

All the bath bombs are now organised in little glass bowls, rather than the big wooden crate like display that they had previously.
I really loved this because it gave you such a good view of the bath bombs, and they were set out in such a nice way - everything was so gorgeously colourful!

This way of organising the face masks is all new to Adelaide too. It's like a ice bar of face masks that you can sit around. It was gorgeous.
The lovely assistant manager Amelia was demonstrating all the masks on peoples hands too, it was so much fun - but so busy. Before I move away to melbourne I'm going to head down to the store and have another look at all the totally fab masks.

The first 100 customers were also treated to a goodie bag, which contained a few things - one of which was their Whipstick lip balm, which is orange and chocolate flavoured.
The whole store was so well organised, and so colourful that I felt like a kid in a candy store and I didn't know what to look at first, their gorgeous way of storing the lip balms totally caught my eye though - I reckon I'm going to buy some little pots like this to store lipbalms/lipsticks in as this is SUCH a good storage idea.

The demonstrations continued well into the night, like did you know if you dunk your hand into a bath with the sunny side bubble bar dissolved into it, you can blow totally rad bubbles? I didn't! It was a fun night to be had by all.

I'll have a post up soon with a huge lush haul and reviews, probably once I'm all set up in melbourne and I've figured out where my local lush store is! (not gonna lie, I'm totally bummed I have to move away from this brand spanking new GORGEOUS store).

If you attended the event comment down below with what products you picked up and what was your favourite demo!

Love as always! x

Find me while I'm not blogging on -
